What Seedance 2.5 can do
Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's newest video model. It makes clips up to 30 seconds with sound and is strong at human motion, facial expression and camera movement. Create video from a prompt, from photos, from references or from your own clip — all on one page.
Seedance 2.5 fits ads, music videos and story clips where a cinematic feel matters. The price per second is shown before you run it, and you can call the same model from your code via API.
Use cases
- brand and ad clips with sound
- music videos and story scenes up to 30 seconds
- animating a character from your photo
- vertical videos for social media
How to get started
- Sign in with Telegram, GitHub or email — it takes half a minute.
- Open the Seedance 2.5 page and write a prompt, optionally adding a photo.
- Check the price on the Create button and run it. The result appears on the page and in your Generations list.
- Top up when you need to — any amount, no subscription. Prefer code? Create an API key and call the same model over REST.
Prompt tips for Seedance 2.5
- Write it like a script: location, character, action, camera, sound.
- For a character from a photo, upload a sharp, well-lit face shot.
- Name the shooting style: "film still", "shot on a phone", "animation".
The more specific the prompt, the fewer attempts you need. Instead of "a nice picture", say what exactly, where, in what light and in what style.
